GEOFF AND JULIE COX

Our names are Geoff and Julie Cox. We live on a narrow boat on the canal and are lucky enough to have a mooring in the village.
Since our retirement five years ago we have developed hobbies to keep us occupied and pass the time especially in the winter months.

Geoff enjoys sourcing unusual brass items that he can makes into tiller pins. He also has become apt to making para- cord items. Key fobs, lanyards and dog collars especially. Any special requests for colour combinations are made to order.

I have gone back to my childhood years and developed my crochet skills! One of my favourite items to make is cabin lace, although there is not much call for it these days!
The ladies in the working boat days decorated their back cabins with lace made from dish cloth yarn. Making there own patterns and passing them on down the generations.

For today’s life style I make Beanie hats, Straw sun hats, string baskets and stash baskets. Other special items made to order and of course colour choices.
